Past event – 10 x 10k Challenge, nationwide

The 2015 10 x 10K Challenge – the ideal way to keep your fitness up throughout the year, raise awareness of testicular cancer and help to raise funds for It’s in the Bag!

The idea of our challenge is quite simple – complete any ten official 10k runs anywhere in the world during the course of 2015 whilst gaining sponsorship throughout the year. Each run you enter must be organised and officiated by either a running club or organisation and timed. For example the Bristol, Frenchay, Cardiff or Exeter 10k’s would be fine as would smaller running club events however running 10k with your friends round the park won’t count! Multi-terrain, cross country or road races including 10k assault course events such as Tough Mudder will all count providing they fall into the aforementioned criteria. We must be able to verify your participation either online at an event results page or from a photo of you and your certificate / memento.

To take part in our challenge we ask that you raise a minimum of just £10 sponsorship per race with all race entry fees covered by yourself. Once you have signed up, we’ll send you an email with all the details you need to get up and running. As a thank you for investing your time and energy with us you’ll receive a personalised It’s in the Bag running vest to wear whilst training and competing.

To encourage you to have fun whilst taking part, we’ll be giving a special prize at the end of the year to the runner who competes in the most bizarre attire so be sure to send us your photos! We’ll be putting the best photos to the public vote via Facebook.

If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact the event team by email at or you can call Steve, our fundraising team lead, on 07738 299 803.
