Past event – Fifteen Take Over the Demonstration Kitchen, London

Set up in 2002, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen uses the magic of food to give young people are chance to have a better future and we are delighted to welcome two apprentices of the class of 2014 to our Demonstration Kitchen on Friday 4th April.

Thomasina Griffin and Andrew Nicolaou are now well into the one-year course, having started in September. The programme trains unemployed 18-24 year olds to become professional chefs. As part of the course, apprentices train towards an NVQ Level 2 Qualification at college, get hands on training in the Fifteen kitchen and go on a number of sourcing trips to learn about food provenance.

Thomasina and Andrew will be coming down to Borough Market, to demonstrate a range of their very own themed recipes sourcing their ingredients directly from the Market.

Make sure you don’t miss out – the apprentices will be at the demo kitchen between 12 – 2pm on Friday 4th April.
